The LG Rumor, offered by Alltel and Sprint, has a hidden, QWERTY keyboard, Bluetooth technology and a 1.3 megapixel camera. The Rumor’s keyboard has both a portrait and landscape mode and the key size is sufficient for easy use. The phone has a memory card slot that allows owners to increase memory and to save photos, documents and music, as they deem necessary. The LG Rumor has an integrated GPS system that works through Sprint Navigation, which provides full, turn-by-turn directions as well as voice and map displays.

The LG Rumor weighs 4.13 ounces and measures roughly 4×2 inches. The screen on the phone is 2 inches and the resolution is 176×220 pixels. The phone can keep 500 contacts with room for email and website addresses, memo space and up to 5 phone numbers. To track specific callers, owners of the LG Rumor simply have to assign them a ringtone, group ID or even a picture. The phone comes with 35 polyphonic ringtones. For individuals who text message, the LG Rumor has 23 text tones so that you know exactly who is texting you.

Other features include multimedia messaging, voice recorder, notepad, a stopwatch, calculator, money and measurement converter, alarm clock and a tip calculator. You will also find stereo Bluetooth, email and wireless internet browsing. For instant messaging, AOL, Yahoo and Windows Live applications are all supported. Individuals can access Facebook. However, Facebook is only one of the social medias that can accessed with the phone. The Social Zone feature allows users to access Live Journal, Vox and Xanga for a monthly fee of $2.99.

The Rumor also plays music and allows the phone owner to create a playlist, as well as shuffle and repeat songs. One only has to download music to one’s computer and then transfer those songs to the phone using a microSD card.
